Bike Riders' Biking Trips in Maine Make a Perfect Complement to a Weekend in Historic Boston, MA. Use Boston as your hub before heading north for a week biking along the rugged Maine coastline. While in Boston, walk the planks of 'Old Ironsides', visit the Paul Revere house, or take in a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Next leave the hustle and bustle behind and head for the tranquility of Maine. Bike Riders' two trips in Maine, Maine's Hidden Coast and Maine: Camden and Castine, offer an idyllic escape. Start your day biking in the crisp morning air. As the day unfolds, the fog burns off the ocean leaving a warm pleasant sunny day. Ideal biking weather. No need to worry, it's never too hot in Maine - even in July and August. Weave your way along the rocky shoreline and stop at the docks. Listen as the fishermen tell some tall tails of the high seas as they haul in their lobster traps. If your lucky, they'll even steam up a fresh lobster for you before you head back to the luxurious comfort of our inn. After a week biking with Bike Riders you'll realize why the state motto is 'Maine, the way life should be.'
Pair a few days in Boston with a Bike Riders' trip in Maine:
• Maine's Hidden Coast: July 10-14, Jul 24-28, Aug 7-11, Sep 18-24
• Maine: Camden and Castine: Jul 17-24, Jul 31-Aug 5, Aug 14-19, Sep 25-30, Oct 2-7

Summer in Paris and the Tour de France - a winning combination. Catch Lance Armstrong on his last bid at the Tour de France, before he retires into the record books. Bike Riders is on hand to help celebrate this exhilarating cycling event in true Bike Riders style! Join veteran Bike Riders leaders John Brooks and Andy Dickerson as they lead the way for this once in a lifetime adventure. Ride past gently rolling lavender fields, rewarding inclines and scenic olive orchards and vineyards. Later, cheer on the peloton from our front row seats as it races by. Other highlights include viewing of Stages 10, 11 and 13, riding the signature climb of the Col de la Madeleine and luxury accommodations including 4 star Hotel Sivoliere in Courcheval and Relais & Châteaux property Cabro d'Or in Les Baux de Provence.

Combine Two Bike Riders' Adventures into One Great Vacation Walk in Italy along our Fabled Towns and Footpaths tour July 18-20 in Bevagna then segue into our Escape to Umbria biking trip July 20-22. Both trips offer three days of an authentic slice of the Umbrian countryside. Stroll through a maze of olive groves and hike to the top of Montefalco and see why it is aptly named, the 'Balcony of Umbria.' Once on your bike in Torgiano, ride through the miles of Rubesco vineyards owned by the Lugarotti family and bike up to Assisi, home to the Basilica of St. Francis, patron saint of animals. For those short on time, opt for one trip and pair it with a day in Florence. Excite the art historian in you while viewing Michelangelo's David at the Galleria dell' Accademia or imagine yourself a Medici while strolling the cobblestone streets. Past and present collide in the culture and pleasures of Florence.
Fly to Florence and then break away to Umbria:
• Three day Fabled Towns and Footpaths Walking Adventure: Jul 18-20, Sep 21-23, Oct 17-19
• Three day Escape to Umbria Biking Adventure: May 18-20, Jul 20-22, Aug 3-5, Sep 28-30
