Cucina Pugliese in Puglia
Bike Riders is proud to introduce the newest tour destination to our signature Guest Chef Adventures' series, Cucina Pugliese in Italy's southern tip of Puglia. Award-winning Chef Christopher Prosperi of Connecticut's Metro Bis headlines our Sept 10-17 departure while the upcoming talented Chef Matt Abdoo of Boston's Marco hosts our Oct 8-15 departure. Our week with a Guest Chef is highlighted by hand-making fresh ear shaped orecchiette, sampling the rich olive oils of the region and visiting an artisanal cheese maker to learn the techniques of making burrata, a fresh cheese fill with cream and wrapped in mozzarella. Of course all of our gastronomic events are complemented by a week of beautiful biking...weaving through almond groves, gnarled olive trees and along the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean.

Galicia: Spain's Hidden Gem
Galicia is our newest addition to the Iberian Peninsula. Located in the northwest corner of Spain, Galicia offers seasoned riders challenging routes and stunning vistas. Rides weave past scenic estuaries and the lush Ribeiro vineyards before crossing the mountains that separate Ourense and Pontevedra. Our hard work during the day is rewarded by pure opulence in the evening..fine paradors and Michelin star dining featuring succulent fresh seafood and crisp white Ribeira wines. The week culminates with our arrival in majestic Santiago de Compostela where we explore the colorful pilgrimage town and tour the grand cathedral.
