Fall is New England is synonymous with Leaf Peepers. Lovers of autumn who flock from far and wide to view some of the most amazing display of fall foliage around. Vibrant red ochre, orange, and deep yellow hues fill every turn, as the trees transform into a colorful painters canvas. Fall foliage season in New England is a natural spectacle that is not to be missed. Come join Bike Riders on one of our several trips that highlight the season and are sure to dazzle the senses.

  • Vermont: For the peak color experience, ride through the Berkshires in western Massachusetts as well as the southern foothills of Vermont during Bike Riders' 6 day Berkshires and Vermont bike trip. Bike by covered bridges and white steepled churches nestled within the picture perfect villages of Williamstown and Manchester and later kick back and relax on our inn's wrap-around porch.
    Dates: Sep 26 - Oct 1, Oct 3-8 and Oct 10-15.

  • Maine: For sea lovers, opt to ride along the rugged shoreline of Down East Maine while breathing in the fresh salt air on Bike Riders' Maine: Camden and Castine trip. Ride by a kaleidoscope of color along Lake Megunticook and hike to the top of Mt Battie for a view of Camden harbor and beyond.

  • The Vineyard & Nantucket: For absolute relaxation, opt for Bike Riders' Island Hopping on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket trip Oct 10-15. The summer crowds have disappeared leaving the islands with a peaceful afterglow. Weave your way along the bike path as the trees blend into a colorful tapestry. Later reward yourself with a typical New England feast, a big bowl of chowdah, steamers and fresh lobster!
