Days 1-2
The cheery waterfront of colonial Lunenburg, a World Heritage site. Pedal the Lighthouse Route from Mushamush Beach Park to postcard-perfect. Mahone Bay and the fishing community of Blue Rocks. Beautiful rides on country and coastal lanes, past dense woodland, weathered lighthouses and colorful fishing villages. Spin by picturesque old sea captains' homes and along rugged headlands alive with water-loving wildlife.

• One night each at the Lunenburg Arms and the White Point Beach Resort.
Days 3-4
World-class seafood. Spin on a rolling downhill from Kejimkujik National Park to Annapolis Royal, the birthplace of Canada. Step back in time at Port Royal, a National Historic site showing French colonial life. A loop through Bear Valley leads to the charming artisan town of Bear River, an important shipbuilding location in the 1800s.

• Two nights at the Hillsdale House Inn. This Italianate-style inn has welcomed King George V, Prince George of Wales and other heads of state since its opening in 1859.
Days 5-6
White-sand beaches await. The pastoral roads of Evangeline Trail dazzle with sweeping views of the Bay of Fundy, home of the world's highest tides. Experience some of the prettiest coastal riding in Nova Scotia before heading into beautiful Annapolis. Valley, known for bountiful farms and apple orchards. Taste unique varietals at the award-winning Domaine de Grand Pré winery Explore the Grand Pré National Historic Site.

• One night at the Victoria's Historic Inn & Carriage House. A Victorian antique-adorned bed-and-breakfast dating back to 1893.
